Gravity Project Honey Series Round 4 - Hollycombe - Sunday 2nd July 2017. The final round of the year and back to our home venue. The dust has gone but track is still running fast and loose. Enter on British Cycling site *HERE*.

The Venue

The track itself lies within private woodland that is not open to the public outside the organised practice and race days. The landowner also regularly uses it as a venue for shooting so, please don't be the person that gets shot trying to squeeze in that sneaky bit of extra practice.

Abuse, damage, littering and riding outside the organised events could seriously impact the possibility of using the venue again. Thanks you for your co-operation with this.

The Course

The course starts out steep and loose before opening up and the gradient dropping off towards the bottom. There is a mix of tight woodland and open sections. The course video is below, tape isn't up yet and there may be some minor changes before the weekend. Starting off with a combination of 2 old tracks for the top section before a repeat of round 2 track for the middle and the final third is the usual flat out twists and turns.

Rider Sign-Up & Info

This is a push-up event with no uplift service. The venue has parking for 100+ cars, on site catering on Sunday and toilets. NOTE: There is no running water on site so please bring your own for Saturday.  Please respect the land, the land owner's wishes and keep the countryside tidy.

About a mile south of Liphook in the direction of Linch.

From A3:
Follow the brown tourist signs for "Hollycombe Steam Collection". Turn off at Liphook. Turn left by the Royal Anchor (Liphook Square), then left again by Lloyds Bank and right at the next mini-roundabout. Look for Sainsbury's (on the left). Turn right at both of the next two roundabouts (follow the small brown road signs). Go over the railway bridge and continue along the narrow, wooded road (Midhurst Road), past Highfield Lane (on your left). After approx 1.5 miles the woodland thins after a downhill section of road and the car park field can be seen on your left. Pass the field, then turn left into Vann Lane, then left onto a gravel track and finally left again to enter the car park field.

From Haslemere & The East:
Leave Haslemere on the B2131 to Liphook. Where the main road turns sharp right, go straight on up Highfield Lane. At the end of Highfield Lane, turn left onto Midhurst Road and follow the instructions as above.
